Membership & application process
The Foundation of La Jolla High School was founded in 1983 and is a non-profit, tax exempt, public benefit corporation, whose primary purpose is to enhance the overall educational experience of students by raising, managing and disbursing funds to support academic, athletic, building and grounds, and other needs of the school for which funding is not available.
Foundation meetings are held at 7:30 am on the third Wednesday of each month in the school library during the school year. Monthly summer meeting dates vary. Director responsibilities are described here.

For more details Nominee applications for the coming year are reviewed by the Foundation Board for their pertinence to specific openings and needs of the Board. New members will be contacted in mid-May.
