  Pick up wristband, meet up w/ friends, grab your raffle tickets, enjoy a beverage. Location: Spiro's Mediterranean Cuisine, 909 Prospect Street, Suite 100B.
• 5:30-7:30 pm:  Sample and Stroll
  Enjoy samples from participating restaurants (see list below).
• 7:30-8:30 pm:  Post-event Gathering

Taste of La Jolla Pre-Party & Registration and Post Event Festivities will be hosted by Spiro’s Mediterranean Cuisine!

Serving delicious food and flavors of the Mediterranean, Spiro’s has been family owned since 1998 by the Chaconas family.   The original location is in Coronado, California with their newest location in La Jolla Village opening in 2020.   The restaurant has been the recipient of numerous awards including Best Mediterranean Restaurant by La Jolla Light and Village News Readers.

We appreciate their willingness to help support this Foundation of LJHS fundraiser that supports ALL students, so let's take a moment to get to know these local eateries, and then get our early bird tickets to Taste of La Jolla TODAY!

The Whaling Bar

Check out the new Whaling Bar at La Valencia Hotel on Prospect. The restaurant boasts a lush space where modern elegance meets classic charm, offering contemporary American cuisine. This latest iteration of The Whaling Bar features a stunning design by Schoos Design, created in collaboration with the La Valencia team and SDCM Restaurant Group. The space is complete with the beloved original 1940s-era Wing Howard paintings, preserving a piece of San Diego history.

SDCM Restaurant Group leads day-to-day operations, with a menu developed by Executive Chef Brian Redzikowski. We’re thrilled to carry on the legacy of this beloved San Diego institution. Our entire team—from front of house to back—takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Chef Brian’s menu speaks for itself, and our guests truly enjoy the gorgeous ambiance.

Lick It Lollipops

Voted Top 5 Desserts in San Diego’s Union-Tribune Readers Poll 2024, Lick It Lollipops™ are hand-poured, single batch artisan lollipops and hard candies made in San Diego, CA. They use the purest ingredients with a focus on organic and local sourcing when available.  

With over 300 flavors, these are not your childhood lollipops. These delicious treats come in sophisticated flavor combinations. Mixology line: Salty Margarita, Mojito, Butter Rum, Vanilla Bean Old Fashion. Savor the Artistic Culinary line: Rose Cardamom, Chili Mango, and Lavendar Vanilla.

These tastebuds delights are brought to you by owner Megan Kim, a longtime La Jolla resident.  The Foundation of LJHS is grateful for the time and spirit she generously donates to the Foundation of La Jolla High School fundraising for Athletic programs.

Taco Time Cantina

Welcome to Taco Time Cantina, your neighborhood Mexican taco restaurant in the heart of La Jolla.  Specializing in crafting tacos with organic heirloom corn sourced from southern Mexico, ensuring every bite is rich in tradition and flavor. The new concept is helmed by restaurateur Ryan Elias Salem, known for his work with Johnny Mananas in Oceanside and Ocean Beach. Salem is joined by partners Samer Cholakh, Dean Michael De Angelis, and Cesar Antonio Sanchez Duenas, operating under their newly registered entity, Tacos Elevated Inc.
