​In order to maintain this tradition of academic excellence and enrichment, the Foundation of La Jolla High School depends on the generosity of supporters like you to raise the necessary funds in order to provide school programs and capital items not paid for by the District.

This year's school-wide fundraising goal for our Greatest Needs Campaign is $250,000, with the primary focus on academics and enrichment. Recent past donations have allowed the Foundation to fund important items such as:
  • Extra Teachers, Advisors, and Student Support Staff: College Admissions Specialist; Additional Security Guard; Advisors (Associated Student Government, Music/Band, Journalism, Yearbook, Drama, Academic League) 
  • Teacher and Staff Professional Growth: Professional Development for Teachers and Counselors
  • Student Programs & Classroom Materials: We End Violence Program; After School Tutoring Program; Hi-Tide Newspaper Expenses; Supplemental Classroom Supplies and Materials; First Aid/Training Supplies
  • Campus Maintenance and Capital Improvements: General Campus Maintenance and Improvements; Auditorium Improvements; Landscaping Equipment Repair; Athletic Facility Upgrades and Equipment; Tennis Court Resurfacing; Windscreens; Stadium Speakers

As we start another school year, please join our Quest for Success to help ensure that LJHS continues to be an extraordinary place for our children to learn and grow.

The Taste of La Jolla is BACK! Join us on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 5:00pm-8:00pm, then stay and mingle at our after-party. TOLJ participants can enjoy sample tasters, beverages and desserts from participating restaurants in La Jolla Cove. 

Check in begins at The Lot at 4:30pm.  Visit the cove enjoying tastings at participating restaurants from 5:00-7:00 pm.  Beginning at 7:00, come back to The Lot for the after-party, where Stage 4 jazz band will be performing live! You also have a chance to win a private screening party at a future date at The Lot.
